The
vaporizer is a precision instrument that
blends Oxygen and Isoflurane to the proper
ratio and outputs it to the gas
distribution manifold. The gas blend is
adjusted with a dial on top of the unit.
It has fine gradations down to ¼ steps,
assuring the precise control required for
small animals. Halothane and Sevoflurane
vaporizers are available as an alternative
to the Isoflurane unit.
The vaporizer unit is
mounted onto a stainless steel stand that
includes a flowmeter and gas distribution
manifold. The flowmeter controls the
flowrate of blended gas into the host
cage. The manifold outputs blended gas
for up to three breathing devices that may
be operated simultaneously. |
